ello, new to these forums so i'm still learning the ins and outs... ... i'm not sure if this is the best place for this topic or if it has already been addressed, but if in doubt post in the off topic section...
my question is... is it possible to change the imported offline delin to the snowy winter version in Drizzle?
and if so, how?
thank you kindly

In the offline version of Eder Delin support for switching between winter and summer already exists
To switch to Winter just type: /setsdl dlnWinterVis 1
To switch back to Summer just type: /setsdl dlnWinterVis 0
EDIT: to make this easier copy either of these commands setsdl dlnWinterVis 1 or setsdl dlnWinterVis 0 into notepad.
Then while in Eder Delin type / then type SHIFT + CTRL and hit ENTER

or alternatively you can use the commands provided by the offline-KI ( /set winter 1 /set winter 0 - in Delin) instead of messing with the sdl directly.
and for a list of all commands available through the offline KI just type /help

This is cool, but I have another question:
if Delin and Tsogal files are coming from MOULa, why this option isn't set automatically ? I remember setting my clock on December or something like this and it was still in summer...
If needed, I can make a python file to do it on my offline version, but I prefer avoid to use it.
And on DI, do the admins use /set, or the original Python file, or a new file ?

Delin should randomly be snowy or not snowy when someone links in and no-one else is there. So relinking a few times should make it snowy or not. (It doesn't necessarily make sense for Delin to be snowy when Earth is snowy ;)

Try telling that to an Australian...

The auto-snowing in Delin is only applied online, to avoid annoying users that want their Delin to be always summer or winter.

On DI you mean ? Or also on MOULa ? I remember it was always snowy in winter on MOULa, but I might be wrong. Then I'll add it myself for offline CC.

Well... Isn't D'ni in the northern hemisphere ? I know, under the surface it's hard to tell if you're in winter or not...

Ages are not in D'Ni.

I know, but maybe they could have wrote it to match the Earth system. But I agree it does not really make sense...
Then I'll just see how the MOUL Python tells the game to change it, or simply put a random option for it. It could have also been nice to set the winter option depending of the neighborhood that owns it. But hoods in DI seems not working as in MOUL.
