Hi.
Today I've tried playing Eder Delin with my friend, but we encountered a problem:
SPOILER
So,we can't visually see the same things like lights or activators at the same time. What he sees I cannot see,and he cannot see what I can.
Is that a problem with the age or is something else the matter?
Thanks.

Re: Eder Delin Problem
I don't know, but there is an easy workaround: do what we did in MOUL - assign the cloths to all players and call the sequence using numbers in chat.
In your case, assign him half the cloths beforehand (choose some that are close together), keeping the rest for yourself. Touch the door, call the sequence on chat, then each player calls the cloth he just touched.

Re: Eder Delin Problem
Well,it's still solvable but the problem isn't that we can't solve the age.
An adventure game is about experience IMO.When I play it,I'd like to see every little detail in the age,and missing the visuals are a large loss.Setting emotional issues aside, having a player not able to see what's going on could prevent that player from solving the puzzle too.Meaning if my friend were to solve the patterns before me,he can't do it because he cannot see them glow.
And occasionally, there had been activating problems too.For example,he said he couldn't touch the clothes in his own game but I could see him touch from my game.He couldn't also activate the door, but I'm suspecting it had something to do with the puzzle and not the game.Still I'm not sure.
Has anyone not experienced such problems?

That's right, but every games has its own bugs (especially online). When it is just a scripting or a file conversion error, it can be fixed. Does this happen everytime or did it just happen this time ? It might have just been a Network error, or anything of this kind.
.
Yes, I guess all of us would like it... But when it is a Network problem, there is not much you can do about itInugami_Eishin wrote:When I play it,I'd like to see every little detail in the age

Re: Eder Delin Problem
Today it occured again, just like it was before. Not just in Eder Delin, but in Eder Tsogal too.
We also couldn't get to the official ages together. Are Cyan-made ages like Gahreesen not multi-playable?Or do I need to invite my friend to MY Gahreesen somehow?

Re: Eder Delin Problem
There are two ways of getting your friend to your private ages. Use your relto book and bring your friend to your relto and let him use your book to link to your private age. Make sure the tab on top of book is up, which unlocks it. The other is to invite him thru the KI.

I don not know how to do these. In MOUL there was a picture on the left page of Relto book to invite your friend but I cannot see it in DI.
I'd be glad if you could teach me how to use that feature, and also on KI.
Thanks
Re: Eder Delin Problem
You cannot share the Relto book in the TPOTS version. It causes a crash and has therefore been disabled on Alcugs shards.
Since you posted this under "general discussion" it was not immediately obvious that you were playing on DI until you mentioned it in your last post. So you may receive advice that applies to MOUL.
This door puzzle btw had to be re-written from the ground up for TPOTS. For me this rewrite has always worked well in multiplayer environments. Better actually than Cyan's MOUL version.

Re: Eder Delin Problem
To invite someone to your Relto on DI, you must do it using the KI: select your buddy, and add him in the category "**** Age visitors" (**** = name of age).
To know about these "instancing" problems, it should work this way in DI: Ages in D'ni should be public, Delin/Tsogal should be sub-ages of Bevin (as you can't use the "multi-neighborhoods" we can say it is public), other Ages are private and you "own" them (you are the one who choose who can come in your Age).
For Delin/Tsogal, as D'Lanor said it might be something with the Python file but then it means it would happen to everyone....

Re: Eder Delin Problem
So Eder Delin was an age made by Cyan? I didn't know this.
Is there a place I can see those multiplayer KI commands? I'm totally a noob at this,so much that I can't even "add" people.(Having experienced only single player URU before)
Thanks for the replies though =)
