Where is everyone at?
Hello! I started playing Uru back in the GameTap days online, and was hoping to get back to see the cavern. I think I am on the DI server correct and all that, but one thing -- I can't find anyone! Where does everyone hang out when they play on the server? It could be that I am on the wrong instance of a public area (i never could understand all of that), but if someone wants to point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it!

Welcome, aegolius! There is only one neighborhood on Deep Island (last time I checked, anyway), so if you didn’t see anyone on your neighbors list, there was nobody online. This is not an uncommon situation – in terms of concurrent players, these fan-run shards cannot compete with Cyan’s “official” MO:ULagain shard (I’m not sure from your wording if you are aware of that – visit http://mystonline.com/play/ for information). If you are mainly interested in meeting people, you are probably better off playing on MO:ULagain. You miss out on goodies such as fan ages there though.

Ah yes, I'm aware of Cyan's official server, but it's exciting to roam around the fan ages and explore a more "complete" Uru with all of the Offline-Ki capabilities. I played around for a while and had fun, but it is disappointing that there doesn't seem to be much player activity these days. I guess an Alcugs shard for a niche game doesn't really attract a lot of attention, huh? Well, I might have a go with MOULagain or whatever it's called just to run around Aegura and have some conversations or play some games.

Maybe it's a good idea to create a thread here, suggesting date and time where you can meet on the Shard

I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.
