Myst-like game

Hello Guild of Writers,
I have been planning to make a Myst-like game for a long time now, and I figured this would be the best place to come for ideas and help. I have not been been here long enough to explore and find the right place to post this, so I figured I would just bring up all my questions here.
First, I am desperately searching for a way to create a point and click like game, resembling the original Myst and Riven. Whether it be a game engine of or code, I dont know, I just need a way to make the game work.
Second, I am not very good with modeling, I can use Sketchup pretty well, but my skills in Blender and 3dsmax are still pretty limited. If anyone is able to help me learn these fast and well, that would be great. Or I am always open to people helping and modeling the ages with me.
