I like the rugged terrain rising from the calm waters. It looks like you've left some spaces for structures to be built; can't wait to see what they'll be!

Truespace is the most intutive 3-D program I have ever encountered.
http://www.caligari.com/ is thier main page
http://www.caligari.com/Products/trueSpace...asp?Cate=BIntrois thier intro to the main program - a bit pricy, but worth it.
http://www.caligari.com/gamespace/Is thier Gamespace - much more affordable for the general person
they currently allow modeling for HalfLife, Quake 3, Unreal Tournament 2003, and some other ones
I would like a plugin for Uru, but it's a bit difficult to get so far, because I need the documentation for it all.
Once I have that, I can port everything over. Unless I get a collabrator to help me out with the blender interface. Which I find difficult.
the information of writing plugins for Truespace and Gamespace can be found here:

I believe Blender has a truespace importer, so I'd say, if you like Truespace, your workflow will probably look like this for a while:
Model main terrain / structures : Truespace
Add Functionality stuff (buttons, moving stuff, etc) : Blender
Export to URU : Blender
Once the Blender plugin supports for than the 20% (I made that number up, BTW) or so of the URU stuff that it supports now, someone might start working on other plugins. For now, you'll have to deal with Blender at some point, or join forces with someone else to do the Blender stuff for you.

OK - I've added a couple of buildings. a temple and a kind of cube-hut thingy

I just wish I could animate the water - it took over three hours to get that texture.

Looking great. Love that water texture! Are these shots being taken in trueSpace, Blender or Uru?

Good work! I particularly like the water texture and those pillars in the first shot -- very high-detail stuff!
I really can't wait to see your next installment.

Until I figure a way to port to Uru, the shots are being taken form 7 cameras in TrueSpace.
I've added 3 towers but you have to wait until later on Sunday to see them. It's 3:30am for me now, and I gotta get some sleep.
I'm thinking that you wiould have to climb the towers and hit a switch or pull a lever to get to the building all by itslef on that smaller island...
Maybe raise bridge pieces?
EDIT: couldn't resist so it's 4am.. who cares?
