What about making a "converter script" that can convert after loading any 2.49 file the game logic properties to custom properties?
After all you need to do this once, and will only be done by experienced people .
Because only those will have big 2.49 "Fan builded agefiles".
Those wonderfull Worlds are called " Ages" , because that is what it takes to build one.
