Gehn Shard crashing

Earlier today I went to open Gehn Shard to make sure everything is working ok before todays big event with the GZ activation. When I launched Gehn there was an update downloaded, when it was done, I logged in, accepted the EULA, the screen went blank like normal, but after several seconds, it crashed with an error message. "UrU has experienced a serious error and needs to close. Please submit your log folder to the developers". I first tried rebooting Windows 7, no luck, I then tried re installing Gehn Shard, still no luck. I next tried it on my wife's computer, also a Win 7 desktop, same resault, update, login, EULA, crash with the same error message. I'm not sure where the log folder is to submit it, I was unabel to find it.

Is there any way to fix this before todays event? We are really looking forward to seeing the GZ activation.

OK I was able to visit the shard UNTIL 0114 HRs (20 min ago)
But found many missing ogg errors

Today i tryed to installe Gehn.
After i repaired the Error Messages:
GameData/GlobalAnimations_District_kgWalkingjump.prp.gz
and kNetErrFileNOTAudio/DeepWaterWalk01.ogg
i have the same Problem as agross and other players.

Not sure what caused you to lose those files, but the first thing to try for fixing this problem is running the Repair shortcut for your Gehn installation as it will restore the missing files.

Find the Gehn Shard log folder here: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Uru - Gehn Shard

Also, in the Start Menu, under All Applications, find the folder for Gehn Shard and therein a special utility for "Gehn Shard Repair" which will repair or replace any missing or corrupt files.

Note that under the 'avi' folder, there are two movies that normally would have played at the time of launch. One of them is the Cyan Worlds Logo, CyanWorlds.webm, which has caused trouble for some users. You can try deleting it or renaming it so that UruLauncher.exe won't try to play it. You might need to delete it after starting Gehn Shard but before proceeding with the Login Window.

If none of this works, consult with Adam (Hoikas) for more guidance.

We've fixed the bug that causes the movie to crash the game, thankfully. I'll check out the crash dump that's attached here and see what we can do.

Wamduskasapa, see if there is a file in your Gehn Shard client called GuildPub-Messengers_District_PubGUIs.prp. If so, delete it.

I do not have the file Gehn Shard "Repair tool" it is not on my C- Drive nor is it on my system image HD there was a "Repair.ini" file on both though.

EDIT: I have gone back for 6 months of System Image Backups no repair tool found
