New today. Big update for me even with a pretty fast connection (Spectrum). Screen locked on Loading Global.... for 15 + minutes. Finally moved beyond that, but now, 31 minutes after starting, it is stuck at those praying hands.

Any suggestions?

I'm sorry, I don't understand what "praying hands" you mean. Can you be more specific?

Deledrius, I think dj_ means the GoW logo - it represents a pen nib, dj_ , for the Guild of Writers, but you can see it as praying hands, I see what you mean!

I'm having the same issue with linking around in GS. The pen nib icon sits there for 15 -20 minutes between linking, even areas I've linked to previously. I'm able to play MOULa perfectly fine. But each time I've tried Gehn it takes a loooong time to link. My avi also lags when moving about. Again, no issues with moving around in MOULa. Any suggestions?

Do you know what kind of graphics card you have in your computer?

I had to change and become dj1 rather than dj_. This because the system wouldn't do a PW refresh. Or wouldn't actually send the email.

OK, problem is still happening.

Dell Inspiron 1750 using the built in Intel graphics
Win7 with auto updates
Graphics is set at 60hz.

I have Spectrum internet currently running at about 65 meg.

The problem;

Exceedingly long times to start;
From app start to Relto was 51 minutes, that goes thru the Visitors screen where I picked me. So it was 20 minutes to that Visitors choice, then 31 minutes to Relto.
To the Nexus 3 minutes
to Tokatah alley 53 minutes

At that point I ran around jumping walking jumping running, etc, Once in any age everything functions as I would hope. It is moving to a new age where the long delays occur.

3 minutes again to the Nexus
9 minutes to the Watchers Pub.

the GS originally ran fine, better than the MOUL;a shard.

I'm sorry it took so long to get back to this, but it twern't my fault.

I still don't know anything about your system. Can you provide a dxdiag report?

OK, thanks to Adam, my problems with even getting here, to the GOW, have been solved.

I will now try a different approach and uninstall on this, the system with the problem, then re-install a fresh Gehn shard. I just did this on a different system and things went as one would hope, and expect.

I am having the same delay as before. I did the uninstall and then a fresh install, just as I had 1/2 hour earlier on a Win 8.1 destop, where the outcome was great. Got into the game in good time. No complaints there.

This is my Win7 (auto updates) running on a Dell 17" Inspiron 1750 laptop. A year ago it ran smooth and fast on this machine.

I have a dxdiag.txt file ready, how do you want me to relay that data?

Uploading it as an attachment here on the forum is probably the easiest way to share that.

I think it is attached, but this will be the first attachment for me here, and it is a different process for me.
