I plan on attending the guild meeting tomorrow. I'm not sure how many others plan to as well, but if you'd like me to address topics please let me know. One topic I plan to ask the other guilds about is whether or not they would have a single person to ask questions to, as well as the forums if they wish.
I had previously addressed this by mentioning that I would act as a voice for the guild. I would in no way manage projects, but instead would track current topics and concerns amongst our guild and post them in a newsletter. I would also be willing to act as liaison between us and the other guilds if they wish it. Nobody would be stopping them from posting to our forums and posting a want ad, I would just be offering my time to research and communicate topics for them to us.
What do others have to say about this? Is a newsletter of current events for our guild something you would like? Would it be helpful for you, if someone such as myself dedicated some of my time to research topics and problems that you and other extra-guildspeople might have? What other topics would you like to see addressed at the guild meeting if you won't be attending?

About the newsletter, there is a related thread at the URL below that might be of a bit of use to you.

Re: Before the Guild Meeting on Dec 1st
It's a guild global meeting at 20.00 GMT, 21.00 GMT+1, 14.00 KI Time, 4PM EST.
I'm going too.
I'm going too.
One day I ran through the cleft for the fiftieth time, and found that uru held no peace for me anymore.

Have fun. In-cavern meetings are usually horrible. I wish you luck.

I didn't see that meeting mentionned anywhere... (MOUL forums, Uru Assembly of Guilds, UO, or here)
I guess then the first topic of that meeting should be communicating meetings times...
Where will it be held?
(I'm not much a fan of ingame meetings either but unfortunately almost no-one uses IRC or CyanChat)

Thanks for the link about the newsletter Jennifer_P.
Aloys, I really thought you were joking with your first response
I saw about the meeting on the MOUL In-cavern events page. Perhaps this would be an item to include in our newsletter?
Chacal, why are the in-cavern meetings usually so bad?

No that wasn't a joke, I actually thought you were making this up or mixing it with some other irrelevant meeting.
I don't check the IC events page (sorry to whoever updates this page), and I mentionned I didn't see it mentionned on the big forums. That is just wrong to me..
Ok, I'll be there then.

Ah; someone nice just bumped the topic on the MOUL forums (it was two weeks old and already burried -- why is that topic not a sticky?)

- Herding cats.
- Chat similar to IRC - crossed conversations, lag between sentences.
This was my experience on all meetings I attended.

This one actually went pretty well.
