Temporary Moderator Status

Shorah, everyone!

I want to let you all know that I've been temporarily chosen as a moderator for the Guild of Writers forums by the website staff. We're in somewhat of a transition period as we work to build up a Guild structure, and during that transition period I'll play this position. However, when the day comes that the Guild would like to hold moderator elections, I want to make it clear that I will most certainly defer to the wishes of the group as a whole. The last thing we want to do is make you think that authority positions are chosen arbitrarily by people behind the curtain - this is merely a temporary status held only so long as the Guild wishes me to hold it.

Nobody's out of consideration, don't worry! If the Writers feel like you should be elected moderator, they'll do so when the time comes.. I feel like we'll hold elections somewhere around when we "officially" recognized as a Guild by Cyan, considering then we'll know if they have some sort of plan for Guild hierarchy. Until then, BAD and I have been pretty active around the forums, so we were offered temporary moderator privileges. It's not a huge deal but I wanted to post a thing about it here so people understood why our names are lit up in green =)

That's fine. Sorry, I'm just so out of it...what the heek has happened here? When did 'here' come into existance?

It's only been around for like two, three weeks.. just looks crazy full because everyone was pretty excited when it was opened and posted eight times a day. Activity has slowed down to a pretty normal pace now, though.

If we do stay as mods, I am sure more mods will be needed at some point as well.

Nothing is really stable or complete just yet, so no worries.
