Let me see if I understand. The 'oversight' aspects of this are the Writer asking for a building permit (an FCAL) with a proposal of some sort. If they get it, then they build their Age and ...

Re: FCAL Proposal Announced at GoMe
RE: the quote from Chogon: Actually, that's really important - the FCAL process is separate than the 'approval' process. FCAL seems to be like a building permit. It simply means you are allowed to use Cyan IP. I think it's getting mixed up with the concept of an approval process for MORE Ages ...

Re: GoW-only tool?
Well, I didn't mean to imply an accusation. Rather, I was looking for clarification that story concerns (as opposed to more technical aspects of fan content) were also going to be handled by the Maintainers.

Frisky Badger wrote:We aren't inspecting these Ages for how good they look or how "Myst"-ish they are. We're watching out for copyright infringement, contradicting storylines, etc.
So 'story' is becoming part of the domain of the Maintainers as well?

Re: Writers at Mysterium 2008?
A lot of these details are up in the air. I just wanted to plant the seed in people's minds until a formal process is in place. If y'all have some really cool idea, I suspect we'll do what we can to reasonably accomidate what it needs. But I expect it will be a collaborative planning effort
