I tried and tried, but I still can't understand the idea of case esthetics. It is just beyond me I guess. A case is used to hold the parts together, help with airflow and keep the cat out. It lives under the desk with the cables and the dust bunnies.
Case esthetics is all about the LAN parties ...

You could probably IC it a bit by claiming that the reason why is because the GoWs is using a different language to write Ages and the Bahro connection is non-existent for a non-D'ni/Yahvo based language. This way, Bahro could link to Asylum, but would be limited to only certain link it spots ...

Source is a great engine, one of the best out there currently. But that is probably not our best option. Using it for free would mean that we would actually have to turn our game into a 'mod' for Half Life2. ie: people would need to have HL2 to play it. Which isn't great if we are aiming for a full ...

I see no reason why the players cannot be in control of the story. Certainly there are enough people with differing opinions about the Art that factional groups could emerge. All that would be needed is an overriding 'moderator' who would serve the purpose of making the differences seem bigger than ...

Sure, but, as far as I know, Multiverse is windows only (if nothing else, it doesn't support linux >.<), closed source proprietry rubbish, which, to me, defeats the purpose of creating our /own/ game.

Well, I have discovered that Blender is capable of the output format that Multiverse uses. Additionally, for programing purposes, people tend to use Java and Python. It might be possible that the first incarnation of this game could be available shortly after MOUL gets pulled from Gametap.

I though I had read that, although Gametap has the rights to MOUL, Cyan Worlds still has the rights to Uru CC. Would that mean that Cyan is free to turn around and make an online game based on Uru CC?
