This is where I should have posted this - since the Gehn.5 update, I can't get the login screen to recognize my password.
What should I do?

I'm stuck at the "Initializing patcher" screen. Nothing's happening. Worked okay this morning . . .

I log in, the update starts, and as soon as the overall progress bar fills up, this is what I get:



And it doesn't happen every time. Just most of the time. And yes, Vista is *quite* special.

It's in C:/Users/*username*/Saved Games/Deep Island

And I'm not sure the admin permissions actually worked. I still have problems and it takes multiple attempts to log in.

Fixed - had to manually set admin permissions on every .exe file, and it ran like a charm.

I'm using Windows Vista and I'm experiencing this same issue. Changing compatibility to Windows 7 isn't an option for me. Any other ideas?
