Where to get sounds?

I was just wondering where everyone gets sound effects? Things like water, birdsong, wind, bubbling lava etc. I'm not quite sure where to start but I need sound effects for my various projects

Try your local library, they often have CDs with effects on them.
Otherwise Google is your friend.
