Hey, you haven't seen mine yet. :o

Maybe one of the Live forum mods would be a reasonable compromise?

There's a possibility that a Cyan artist could be contacted to see if they would be interested.

It would be a great idea, to get feedback from them about this contest, and the quality generated.

Tweek was here about a week ago, maybe he can, or GreyDragon, or both.

Mmm I smell pressure comin

Hmm. It might have been helpful to have this all worked out before the contest started.

It's a bit late notice to ask busy people to add this to their to-do lists.

Can I suggest we keep the judging for this first contest to perhaps just six people, three Writers and three Maintainers. We can see how that goes, learn from the experience, and move on from there.

I had thought out most things, but one thing I hadn't accounted for was for some writers to judge, as for getting a Cyantist that was more of a pipe dream.

Grogyan, kudos to you for getting this off the ground. It's a great idea and I'm looking forward to seeing the results!

You had thought about how to get the Ages judged, and had asked the Maintainers to do it -- a practical and sensible division of labour that fosters cooperation and strengthens links between the two guilds, as Watson was trying to encourage in his speeches.

The involvement of the Writers in judging grew out of suggestions made by others in this thread, even though that was not part of your original plan. However, I still don't know if any Writers want to join the judging team (hint hint). You can sign up here, folks: http://guildofmaintainers.org/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=292. If you don't, we'll have to go ahead without Writers in the judging team, as Grogyan had originally planned.

And Trylon, great news! Thank you. :)

As of now who exactly is part of the judging board?
I don't exactly plan to put out an Age in the next 10 day, so if there's some vacant seat for a judge on our side I'd be happy to fill in. If I not I'll still be happy to have a look at the Ages produced. :P

Great! Thanks, Lontahv and Aloys. That makes five people on the judging panel.

Writers: Aloys and Lontahv
Maintainers: ametist, Corvus and Dot

Thinking of practicalities, which time zone are you in, Lontahv? I think the rest of us are CET or GMT.
