Yay. I'd forgotten about "extrude." Thank you. EDIT: I didn't know I could do that, Jojon. Thank you also. I'll try that with the next unexpected hole. (I'm sure this won't be the last.)

And the next weirdness (I'd actually thought about making this a feature, but I think I'd rather know how to avoid it:

See the light ram through the gaps in the land, as Kate Bush so movingly sang. It moves around, depending on where I am and which way I'm facing, and only happens around the coastline.

I should collect all these things and put them on the wiki. "Bonehead Errors to be Avoided." Something like that.

Typically my BoneHead are down to forgetting to put something extra in or just a simple typo :D

Do I see specular lighting from a very strong light source?

Very possibly you do. I cranked the sun up to 10 because it was dark (I couldn't get it to 11). But there's no specularity on the land materials, so I don't know what's reflecting...

To truly eliminate the specular effect, select your ground and then:

- On the Material tab in the Material panels, set the Specular color to black
- On the Shaders tab in the Material panels, change "Spec" from 0.5 to 0.
Can we rebuild it? Yes, we can - here's how.

I think that worked. (See the "Regions" thread for why I'm not sure.)

I shall be putting all this into practice on Age Six, when I've blown through my mental pipes a bit.
