Isn't the coding for this still in MOUL, or URU:CC in some way? Isn't it possible we could fiddle with this and try to bring the Gahreesen Wall back into existence? I think that'd be a huge thing for Uru.

This was done in UU. I have played the wall myself. Anyone who still has UU has the code.

Er, Andy. The "stuff" for the wall isn't all there. What the patch would do would be copy the different .prp files into the "dat" folder, update the python and patch everything up. I have switched UU and CC prps and gotten it to work(kinda), you just need some time, and a hexeditor.

Note: before I became friends of the H'Uru people I tried and tried to turn the wall on in python and SDLs, but... there are files missing.

Also, be careful what you say when you don't have proof. ;)

Hey, and what about putting a big-UU-KI into the CC patch while I'm at it(I haven't gotten THAT trick to work yet, but... possible).

Oh and for those who are wondering... don't expect such a patch soon, I'm just rattling on about what I could do. I think some people call it bragging. ;)

No, that's mine. Which has been sidetracked by actual Age Writing for the moment, but will be continued at some point...

Oh right, I remember that project now that I see the site. That looked really great, must have been quite a bit of work...

lol, seems a little "lost in translation" stuff is taking place XD

Either way, Lontahv, if the patch comes out (or there's a step-by-step process to fix it) please let me know. I never got to play on the Wall :(

er, lontahv.. heh.. you don't need to patch anything to play the gahreesen wall. I can play it right now, and it only involves running my uu install with one file replaced. Of course, for those who didn't play uu, or didn't save the isntall (why not?) you're kind outta luck for the moment, since any sort of patch for cc would be a distribution of cyan content.
