Both Andy and myself, that I know of, have significant experience with UnrealED 2.0
But neither of us have had experience with UnrealED 3.0 which is used for Unreal Tournament 3
Andy is right, when they mean Unreal Engine, they are really talking about the editor.
Unreal ED is a piece of cake, but keep in mind if they are dealing with UnrealED 2.0, as that deals with BSP (Binary Space Partitiion) mapping of levels which is very inefficient and no longer in use with any modern games.
UnrealED 3.0 is very complex, so its likely that they'll set you up with UnrealED 2.5x which is the editor that comes with Unreal Tournament 2003 and 2004, and that deals half and half with BSP and static meshes (don't worry too much about those terms, they'll teach you all of those).
Seeing as you have experience with Blender, you can show off a bit and export your meshes in Blender and import them into UnrealED (ASE format is the only format that UnrealED supports externally from itself).
