Importing the Writer's T-Shirt

Postby Jamey » Fri May 02, 2008 4:31 pm

I don't know about you guys, but I miss wearing the Guild of Writers Black T-shirt. :(

Is there any way possible to import clothes from the MOUL files. into Uru Complete Chronicles? If not, what is our status? How are we progressing in terms of making this a reality?

Technically, this is taking MOUL content with Cyan's content.

If you have the MOUL files, check the blender stuff. They're in there, I'm just not gunna say how to get em out.

I don't want to get in trouble with Cyan, so I'll leave it here. Someone else can tell him if they want. :S

Yeah you're right...on second thought, I might not until I know Cyan won't get ticked at us ;)

"Check the blender stuff" ?

O.o
o.O

Since when has pyprp or blender had support for clothing items. The real deal is in the hex. :P

You should rather use PrpExplorer, and you should rather let Cyan and Turner worry about the legalities. Let's concentrate on our hacking.

Jamey, I don't think you'll get in too much trouble if you just do it for yourself (then write a tutorial). But you could get into tons of trouble if you distribute anything that's Cyan's ie. hacked clothing Prp.

Here is another idea (means a LOT more work): Why not make your own T-Shirt? I mean you can make it look just like the GoW T-Shirt, but then you can say that you made the texture from scratch. Period. Not too much argument there. Of course like I said, you'd have to make it from scratch....(I'd do it with Hot Wheels Flames LOL :D )

I have made a few T-shirts......

It is difficult. YOu can make brand new shirt files with PRPexplorer, and hex editing. I haven't done it in a long time, so I don't remember all the steps. If your interested drop me a PM and I'll try to get all the info together for ya. :)

I still have the original rough document that I used to show the method to BAD. We probably refined things a bit afterwards but here you go.
