Little bit of feedback from Cyan about RAD contests

Postby Grogyan » Tue May 13, 2008 10:28 pm

Got this in my morning email today
Hi,

Holding an Age creation contest is a great idea. However, I feel that it might be ahead of its time because there is not a good and clean process for making Ages at the moment. Hopefully, that will change in the future and then a contest like this would be great.

Thanks!

Hello,
During the All guilds meeting followed by the guild of writers meeting, we came up the idea that we should hold competitions to encourage people to write Ages, what i'm not sure of is whether its bad idea to do it at all.
These Ages are for the offline game, and I have spoken to Trylon and he reckons he can setup a ULM application that would be dedicated to contests, so that Ages there are'nt mixed up with Ages on the publlc ULM library (Uru Library Manager).

So the question i'm asking, is is there any reason why we could not be allowed to hold such contests, or hoops that we would have to go through to commit to such contests?

Included is a draft of rules that outline what is to be expected

Thanks

So they like the idea, cool bananas

Good and clean meaning legal, I'll assume, as the plugin is good enough and clean enough for me.
