Verticle Textures

I've been having issues texturizing verticle planes on Blender. Can anyone help me out here?

Last time I had something like that, I had a Scale of 0 for one of the X, Y or Z scales in the map-input panel.
One day I ran through the cleft for the fiftieth time, and found that uru held no peace for me anymore.

Yeah, that's a mapping problem. Double-check your UV mapping, it's finicky on narrow planes like that.
