I tried it again on my old computer and it works fine installing it there.

Then you can do what I always do. Just copy the folder with the fully installed game to your new computer. Then launch it with UruSetup.exe (or make a shortcut for it).

Thank you all for helping me!!!! I think I got it to work. I made a copy of it on another cd and managed to install the game from my copy. But I could not play with that CD. Of all wierd things I managed to use my original cd after instalation. (At least so far.) A bit choppy and small jumping at some places, but I am happy. So I can play with my original cd but not install with it. Odd:-)

Ubisoft released a no-cd patch (which is still available) ... this enables you to play without any cd in your drive ... and may stop your "choppyness"
