Thank you all for helping me!!!! I think I got it to work. I made a copy of it on another cd and managed to install the game from my copy. But I could not play with that CD. Of all wierd things I managed to use my original cd after instalation. (At least so far.) A bit choppy and small jumping at some places, but I am happy. So I can play with my original cd but not install with it. Odd:-)

Ubisoft released a no-cd patch (which is still available) ... this enables you to play without any cd in your drive ... and may stop your "choppyness"

(just replace your install files with the ones in the zip folder)
when it comes to Age creation ... "DOH" seems to be my middle name...
