Having a web site that explains how to start a UU server is spreading knowledge. This doesn't hurt Cyan and must be encouraged. There is no such thing as bad knowledge, much as some governments would want us to believe.
Actually starting a public UU server would possibly hurt Cyan at this time. I would be surprised if anyone did it. Not to mention this is an endeavor not for the faint of heart. I suspect those who would actually be able to pull it off already know how. I myself had the original instructions saved, all Dickins has added is the modified auth server. Dickin's web site is not going to sprout a flurry of UU servers.
I have all kinds of dangerous knowledge. How to make a bomb, how to poison thousands of people, how to bring down essential computer systems. I have yet to feel inclined to do any of those things. But if anyone had tried to prevent me from gaining that knowledge I would have fought them.
