Nick, Sharper, and Phil were "regular" avatars simply worked on. If you played enough with the controls, you could get some pretty unique looking avatars. I believe there was someone......oh jeez, can't remember his name now, everyone kept speculating he was a Main character......but it was just another explorer like us that took a lot of time, working on their Avatars.

You mean Chad shaw? Back at the very beginning of MOUL, he went to a hood, and started speaking in broken d'ni, something about people having to escape to private instances, and destruction is coming. It was later confirmed that he was just another explorer. Here's a picture of him:

I don't remember him Justin, but I remember people talking about a guy speaking in broken D'ni. He must have spent a lot of time on that little stunt. Learning both a barely complete language, plus tweaking his avatar to look just right.

EDIT: I give credit to Sydney though. If she wanted she probably could have confused enough people into thinking she was a cyan player, with the ongoing storyline of the ADM and Nick/Cate.

No. I meant Dr. Burne, or whatever his name was. He got quite popular at the end there. People had him on the Buddy List, and got all excited when ever he logged on.

Dr. August?

Mr. Barnes was semi-official (DRC introduced) IIRC.

I'd have a hard time believing Barnes had no tie with Cyan.
He sure sounded like RAWA to me.

Oh he could have been. Any of the Cyan members, resEngs, etc, could have been logged on as just a memeber having fun at times. Remember, many of them were fond of just playing too.

I remember of being accused of being Marie Sutherland........ .......every time I logged on, I got greeted in the UO Hood as "Marie!!!!"
