yes, D'Lanor is right (and thanks for the compliment!)

... all the current DOORS use the "old" python method of animation and will eventually be updated to the "new" method ... whereby the sounds and avatar animations are all synchronised...

However, If you go to the underground Analysis room ... there is a "new" animation there (you will currently have to "pixel hunt" the secret panel to press to open the map picture on the wall) ... however, later this week I plan to release a new version which has a "clue" as to where the secret panel button is ... plus a "surprise" behind the map picture ... ;)

(Oh, and if you find it, please, do not use the linking book unless you recognise the age from the linking panel inside the book and have it installed ... otherwise Uru will close and say "some files are missing or corrupt". This wont harm your installation, but it can be quite unnerving... ;)

I've been wondering for awhile now, what is the age in the linking book, and how do I link to it... It links to campbravo, but from a distance, I don't think that's what the linking book is supposed to link to... It looks like the same linking book from Paakweh...
will that age ever be released?

Justine ... I have edited that original post .... since then, the book link has been changed ... you can safely link there now ... ;)

... I suggest you download the latest version (same link) ... Sonavio is now VERY different from when I originally relased it ...

Is there a new version today? I just downloaded last night (because this thread was bumped) for the first time in a while and was majorly impressed man :)

If there's actual hookups for a puzzle, though, it stumped me. I used flymode to get into the house and use the Book, and feel a little dirty :P

I couldn't get anything to work except the door to The Company room (which is, er, an easy one ;)).

Kato ... if you downloaded last night you have the version with the " new animation" (in the Analysis room) ... as for getting the Hut doors to open ... you need to find the power switch ... ;) ... however, I am working a new release for later this week .... which will include a new "goodie" ... ;)

Are you still looking for testers with low-end systems for that book?

Both of my notebooks are currently in pieces for rebuilding (both had their last working appearance at Mysterium a few days ago). They were in serious need of OS rebuilds, and I'm using the opportunity to put the faster disk in the more current system.

The older 'box' (a Sager 8890 /w the rare 16" screen) was the original system I played ABM on, and later TPOTS. I call this system a 'box' since it weighs 12.5 lbs. ;) It will play Uru, but not much else nowadays.

Oh, another quick thing of note...if you shut the door and then run back inside the Analysis Room, you're trapped. I assume this will be fixed? :P

I found another button similar to the door handle thing but it wouldn't work, could be my fault.

Only other thing I found clickable was the seeeeekrit panel :)
