Non-Uru Age creation? Is GoW the place for me?

OK, so. I'm not really into the multiplayer/realtime aspects of Uru. I'm more of a fan of Riven. But I *am* very interested in creating Ages... just not necessarily ones to go in Uru--maybe something more like Ilathid. I like having more control over where people can go in my age, and to not have to choose between graphics quality and playability/FPS. (I'm currently looking into using Pipmak for an engine--it's also cross-platform). I use Blender, but to produce still images.

Is GoW something I can still contribute to usefully? If not, is there a place online dedicated to Age creation of this kind?

probably, you could do worse elsewhere.

I'd say so. The "Artists" forum has many people hanging around producing images and other graphics. GoW is a home for all crafts

I'm hoping to put together some utilities to make Pipmak environment creation in Blender easier and more automated (minimize the amount of repetitive hand-coding). I'll post more about it if/when something actually materializes.
