I just tried linking to Odema (the version which is on UAM, but it is the same as on ULM) and I'm unable to correctly link to the age. As soon as I arrive, the framerate goes to something like 1 frame per 10 seconds. When I am lucky, I can kill the game and go on using my Desktop regularly, but I can not use Uru anymore before I restart the X Server (I am using Uru with the latest wine version on Kubuntu 8.04, and all the other ages work fine, even the problematic Ahra Pahts shells) - when I'm not lucky, I have to restart the X Server. Old Wolle reports to also have problems with this age (using the ULM version) on Windows, he crashes after being there for about 20 to 30 seconds. He has the same problem in the latest version of BoxAge, too, which I didn't try yet because I don't want to restart my X Server again and again ;-)
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

I had the same problem... to the point that I had to SSH in and reboot in order to get anything working again.

Yeah, I don't know what's causing this.. I've been trying to figure out what's causing this for some time, (months) but I haven't been able to find anything incorrect in the files. The age also seems to have considerably fewer problems on my machine, than anyone else's. (seems to be related to the video card) I released this mostly because I was tired of trying to figure out what was wrong with it. >.>

If anyone can figure it out, It'd be greatly appreciated. :D

this is really odd...
if I try and link into this age in Full Screen Mode ... I get a stackdump... :o

However, if I run in window mode... I can get in ;) ... but down by the bridge things get very wierd if I look back where I came from ...

not sure if this will help you sort out the problem ... you have like exploding meshes in there ... :(
when it comes to Age creation ... "DOH" seems to be my middle name...

If this helps, it ran correctly for me if a little sluggishly. But when I went past the barrier and walked up to the edge of the Age, and looked into the abyss, it went all Nietzsche on me and crashed.

Also I noticed all your tree limbs are colliders, and there's lots of them.

I occasionally see similar things as boblishman in Odema, when standing in certain locations and looking in certain directions. I had always chalked it up to CrossOver but it may be something more fundamental.

I've had a few issues linking into the age, but what I see I really like! Is there any way you could post a blend file with your trees in it? I really wanna know how you made them look so good - I've never been able to get my head around making good trees like those :?

Maybe some oddness with transforming the SpanInstances (plClusterGroup stuff).
Currently getting some ink on my hands over at the Guild Of Ink-Makers (PyPRP2).

There was bug very similar that used to happen in the early Uru betas, but I haven't seen it in a while.. In the Hood and Teledahn, whenever the texture budget would hit a certain limit things would go Kaboom like that, vertices flying left and right especially toward the center of the screen. But it was fixed I guess, I haven't seen it since, even in really demanding Ages.
