You could export the model from 3D max as a Maya object (.obj) ... and then import it into Blender (the UV mapping would also be exported/imported) ... and then actually get it into an Age within Uru (using the current GoW plugin & Blender).
There is no need to (in fact I would highly recommend you DON'T) wait for Cyan, MOOSE or the Max plugin ... which, if past record is anything to go by, will not be in the immediate future (even though they are "hoping" to have "something" ready for "spring". )
What I really like about it is that you have used both a reasonable face-count and a reasonable texture size (although, I suspect that, depending on the (in game physical) size
and how close you will actually get to this pedestal (in game), you may find that you
MIGHT be able to reduce the texture size to 256 x 256 ... but you'd have to see it in game to be sure.

(As for "a representative Age for the GoW" ... well, now that is a seperate subject altogether ... you might find some people will have strong views on something like that
