Has anyone had any problems with Uru minimizing as soon as it starts loading, every 2-3 launches or so after the offline KI was installed? I've had this problem for some time now, and I'm just curious to hear if anyone else has had this problem. I'm not 100% sure if it was the Offline KI installation that caused this (if it did, I'm betting the Python files) but I just wanted to ask.

Anyone else had this problem?

I haven't had that problem as yet.

Have you tried re-installing the offline KI? If you have...then I don't know off hand what's happening.

That sounds strange, I've never heard of a problem like this... are you sure that it is not caused by something else which by coincidence happened about at the same time as you installed the Offline KI? If you have two Uru installations (one with, one without the KI), you might check if it happens for both of them.

On the subject of odd stuff.

Flymode, is it still controlled with the ESC key with the offlineKI? If so, I'm having issues as it doesn't seem to work (unless its the fact that I'm using windowed mode. But I don't think that would cause it to not work would it?

It's still Esc, yes. I use it in windowed mode, so I don't think that's quite it. I did notice though, that if Uru isn't the topmost window when it starts up, that somehow the Esc key doesn't get registered. So windowed mode might be the cause indirectly.

Yeah, it started occuring after I downloaded the KI

What's even stranger about it is how randomly intermittent it is. Sometimes it will start up, and minimize, I try to open it up, it minimizes again and again until I have to quit (using task manager) and try to load up Uru again, and sometimes, it'll just load up with no problems at all

I'm thinking what caused this problem has to be something either in the Python folder, or something buggy when Uru tries to load up the GUI, Global clothing, etc. before it has to load relto.

When I installed the KI last time, I didn't put the Offline KI dummy file in my dat folder, because it would cause the Uru setup to quit upon loading, but then I added it with it's folder into the dat folder this time, and got this problem. So I tried taking out the Offline KI dummy age file, along with it's folder, out of the dat folder, but even when I did that, I still get the problem.

I think it is one of these things:

Problems loading the GUI
Problems loading the GlobalClothing
Something wrong with one of the Python files that came with the offline KI
or something else...

any ideas anyone? I'd REALLY like to get this problem fixed; it's becoming a real pain in the butt to load up Uru...

Wow, both of these problems sound really strange... Flymode still works great here. I got a report from some else though that it doesn't work there either. Could you upload/send me the Python.0.elf file after trying to get it started without success?

As for the minimizing problem, I really got no clue, and if there's noone else having the problem I don't think there is much I can do about it . Could you try making a new clean and fresh installation of Uru, and then install only Drizzle and the Offline KI?

I have a backup of my Uru folder that I made before installing the KI and getting the minimization problem, should I just replace the new files with the ones from my old backup instead of a fresh install?

I don't know, you could mess up more than you repair if you mix different versions of the files...
