Great!

Chloe's Hood Office and the new Eder Licinius are now on UAM. Make sure you get both of them! And I've put up the info page: http://alcugs.almlys.org/UAM/Ages/ChloesHoodOffice

It's pretty awesome to have those Cartographer's maps in game, but I hope you don't mind my intrusion during non-office hours!

I didn't have much time to check the safety of the age. A few things I found:
1)I'm getting laggy in Eder Licinius.
2)Leaving the tram I sink in the ground, but only if I used the lever before.
3)When I try to use the nexus book, the game freezes and I have to ctrl/alt/del.
4)In the office I got stuck in the desk. But came free again, by using the nexus book that lies there.

Someone want to give me a timestamp from the Eder Licinius files? I'm wondering if I uploaded the older files, if the two linking books aren't working properly, then I uploaded either an older python pak, or an older version by mistake of the age itself, as I tested all the linking books prior to uploading the ages, and ran into these same bugs before. Fixed them, but may have sent the old buggy version by mistake.

The lag is entirely the tram car animation's fault, its a bit buggy, and hence the sinking into the ground when you get off.

The stuck in the table, yep, need to move that OneShotMod out a bit from the collider around the table.

The one in your office works correctly. Here's some modification times:

EderLicinius.pak: Feb 17 2009, 00:51
EderLicinius_District_liciExterior.prp: Feb 17 2009, 00:45
EderLicinius_District_liciSprings.prp: Feb 16 2009, 21:14

Yeah those are the most recent ones. Does the Nexus book in Eder Licinius not work for anyone or just Corvus (Works fine on my end, and the modification times line up perfectly. The other linking book should still link you through, even without the image there. That requires a new modified texture file (the image needs to be resized and have alpha, JPG doesn't want to work)

The other linking book isn't working for me either. It pops up, but then I can find no more hot spot on it.
I guess it should link to your office?

The Nexus linking book near the link-in spot doesn't work for me either -- Uru froze like it did for Corvus.

I installed it directly from the link in your post, using the ULM to add a book to the Relto shelf as before.

[Edit] I've tried the linking book down by the falls. The book pops up, but there is no linking panel. All I can do is close the book.

[Edit 2] The Nexus book in the office does work OK. I accessed the office 'unofficially' by using the panel installed via the ULM.

Okay, i found the problems with those two books. I'm uploading the fixed version now. The nexus book had a problem with the callback for the oneshot, and the other book's linking panel image had to be replaced, along with an edited python file. Also fixed the bug with the Oneshot in the office. Give it about ten minutes and try the download again, the major issues should be fixed. I didn't do anything with the tram car, as that would involve actual non-bug fixing stuff.

At least the telescope works though. :)

EDIT: Okay, finished uploading, see if those bugs are fixed Maintainers ;)

Nexus book near the link in point works.

However, I have now had two stack dumps in the falls area in trying to get to the other book. Here's the text:
Code: Select all
Exception type: Access violation
Call stack (14 levels):
 0x7C817067
  0x00869D54
   0x00475D0F
    0x0047658B
     0x005D83D9
      0x005D84F8
       0x005D8A53
        0x005D9132
         0x004D3E19
          0x004D5709
           0x004E3353
            0x004E352A
             0x004EAA13

I'll try again...

[Edit] Managed to get to the book this time, and it looked and linked as it should have done (including the panel).

The linking books are working perfect for me too now.
But now something is going wrong with the sprite of the lamp in the office and the color of the light. This doesn't harm the safety of the age though. :)
