Alright, let's get this started.
I hereby declare myself release manager and will start to try to organize things roughly according to my plan posted
some pages back (taking into account what has been discussed here since then too).
Questions and suggestions are welcome here in this thread, by PM, and I'll also try hang out on IRC (#PyPRP on irc.guildofwriters.com) as my time permits (mostly European evenings). It is to be expected however that real life will occasionally take hold of me for a few days.
I am mainly concerning myself with the discussed code release (with documentation of what's new) and have no ambitions to also organize the proposed project of producing comprehensive, unified technical documentation. As suggested, these two projects can run concurrently and neither needs to wait for completion of the other.
Being much more of a lone coder than a manager myself, I see this as kind of an experiment. Let's see how it turns out. Let the cat-herding begin!
