Ooh, nice! Now we won't be so alone when visiting Rell-too.
Can't wait to meet them in person!
Being the 'creator' of the bugs (I'm not a god I promise! ) I actually used stones to create the sound, but of course I can do a new recording!
You see, those critters have a lot of very small, tiny teeth, covering the 'muscle' underneath it's body ,by which it crush the rock into powder, then it kind of sucks that powder into its belly (with some kind of mouth which I haven't discovered yet ....
Wow, I didn't know that one. CoolYou know - the Rell-too base IS actually that old and retains its old slippery friction settings unaltered from alcprp days. It annoys me too, actually, but I keep forgetting to adjust it.
That sounds greatThe elevator does not even have a SDL flag at the moment, so it behaves erratic in more ways than one.I suppose now that Robert has added an SDL file, I'm going to have to explore that whole hornets nest. :7
Have you seen the pieces of canvas in the lower cave? They are supposed to be an airflow throttle -- when the elevator has all its intended scripting in place, "opening" that throttle will be a condition for getting the elevator to rise and then you are supposed to be able to call it back down, by closing the throttle again.
...unless someone changes something... :9
I don't understand that one, sorry.and currently there is no longer any real incentive to go to the top, after other, easier ways off the tower have been provided
I'm sorry but I can't even handle Blender. It could well be that in near future I have a lot of time though in which case I might start learning it and then perhaps also give this project a trySuggestions, such as those you gave, are valid entries from participants, by the way... :9
