Hi! I'm Dragonwing.
I'm a gamer, programmer of limited experience, and all-around geek. I like dragons.
I've been playing Myst games since before Riven ( although I was too young to actually solve anything about it ). Been playing Uru with long periods of playing and not-playing since forever. I regret not having found out about Until Uru till it was shut down, after which I didn't want to pay a fee for GameTap's version. I've known about the GoW, alcugs, and pyPRP since sometime in spring '07, but never done anything meaningful with it.
Out of curiosity I checked out CyanWorlds' site about a week ago and saw that they were going to make Myst Online an Open Source project. This ignited my interest and I installed Blender/pyPRP/Uru on my semi-new pc just this week. I am very excited about open Source Myst Online and can't wait to get my hands on it.
Until now I haven't had a reason to register on the GoW forums. But with OSMO's upcoming release, I've decided that now is as good a time as ever to bring my ideas into reality.
I aspire to write some pretty awesome Ages, but first I need to get the hang of pyPRP. My previous experience with it was mostly trying to get things to work ( I've had lots of
"little" problems in the past ), so my skill is basically 0.
