SHARD INVITATIONS for Palishard refuges

For those who don't know, how does one get an invite to a shard, how many shards can one have on a PC.
and is their room for the 100 or so Palishard refuges

There is no limit, neither to the amount of Shards existing, nor the number of Shards you can join - except for your hard-disk space, since currently we are facing isolated isles of Shards and you will most likely need one client per Shard.

There is no way to request an invite. Basically, you have to wait. I fear it will stay that way until the community agrees Shards can be open.

so thats it..........punish a whole bunch of Myst fans for the wrong doing of a few or the one. It would seem the Peaceful friendly community I wanted so much to return to has a vindictive dark side

Who punished anyone? I don't exactly know whom you are accusing of what here. If Dhel decided to shut down his Shard, that is his decision and you should complain to him. If you think it is wrong to publicly talk about misbehaving and lies of people, then I don't think we need to discuss this further.

Perhaps I used a bad choice of words, but I was referring to the people who just enjoyed being in Uru Live and can no longer do so as a result of the circumstances that unfolded over the last few days. Can they at least be invited to one of the existing shards if they sign up here and say hello?

Keep in mind that most of us do not have access to a shard. We just keep waiting for MORE. I won't lie to you, waiting is hard.

I suppose your best option is to write a nice note requesting an invite and hope someone who does have access to a working shard will pass your name along. It certainly can't hurt.

Read what I posted here in this Fork Thread.

There is no Dark Vindictive Side.......there are MANY reasons you may not have been invited to a shard. But keep in mind that YOU are NOT the ONLY ONE who has never been invited to a shard. There are TONS of people out that that have not been invited to a shard.

What can you do about it? Post asking NICELY (calling people "Dark" and "Vindictive" is most likely the wrong tree to bark up....) in all the MOUL forums out there.
Ask people you know on here and other forums.
Create Ages.....THAT will get you invites, especially if the shard wants to use your Age.

But as others said: until either Cyan says "Sure, go ahead." or the community majority as a whole decides that shards are not something evil or bad, then they will remain secret and hidden. There will not be a master list for you to choose from.
