If Cyan didn't care about bringing Uru back, they would not be doing Open Source for us.

It may be easy to port Cyan's new worlds to Uru with Drizzle in the future. However, I beg that Drizzle won't have support for Cyan's new games that are unrelated to Uru. Finally Cyan seems to have a grand new project which will provide them lots of work and money. If Drizzle allows that new project to be converted, then it's over for Cyan and for us. So, while people may be tempted to try to convert the new game in the future, please don't. It's a matter of respect and common sense.

Writers must not use the intellectual property of others, This includes references to trademarks, copyrights, etc. Writers cannot write an Age where their character meets Captain Kirk, their Age cannot contain a Coca-Cola machine, etc. Everything in their Age or mentioned in their storyline must be their own work.

We don't need more tyranny in Uru. All Fan Ages are welcome, even if not liked by everyone. And I know you're not talking about Fan Ages, but it sounds like the same thinking to me.
