If nothing else it should be an interesting training opportunity for the IC3, and that may discourage any similar activity when open source starts up. After all it will be in several different countries.
Traditionally Cops get free donuts and coffee so they will frequent the donut shop more often, and there presents at such establishments discourages criminals.

uh, what are you on about?

Discourage what criminals?

If you have picked anything up, its not from drizzle or the pelipatch/shard..

Don't you think someone else would be having these issues as well, if that was the case?

I have been singled out for my opinions before but opinions are neither right nor wrong.

Well then Im wrong and their is nothing to worry about, But the last three times I have had these issues Uru drizzle or the ULM was always associated, when I got rid of them and got my PC fixed the issues where gone when I put them back on my PC the issues are back what am I supposed to think. OK maybe some of the things I said where not the best things to say but I said them their is no taking them back. and I dont believe I said anything about the makers of Drizzle or the people who run the Palishard. doing this all I said was the programs were associated.

I don't know if their is direct cause and effect,if their is none then Its just as you said coincidence but if their is a back door or something some one is using to do this sort of thing I thought you would wanna know.
Im beginning to think Uru live was a mistake for me any how in any case my reputation in this community is set in stone by now and I really don't thing it would be a good idea to remain part of it.

Good luck with your activities

Here's a fast check to see if you are infected. If you can not see all links in the Conficker Eye Chart you are infected.

http://www.confickerworkinggroup.org/in ... chart.html

Explanation:
Conficker (aka Downadup, Kido) is known to block access to over 100 anti-virus and security websites.
If you are blocked from loading the remote images in the first row of the top table above (AV/security sites) but not blocked from loading the remote images in the second row (websites of alternative operating systems) then your Windows PC may be infected by Conficker (or some other malicious software).

If you can see all six images in both rows of the top table, you are either not infected by Conficker, or you may be using a proxy server, in which case you will not be able to use this test to make an accurate determination, since Conficker will be unable to block you from viewing the AV/security sites.

As kaelisebonrai says, a lot of people use these things, and no-one else seems to be having this problem. In my experience, a virus may appear to be gone (and some of its files may be deleted), but then it waits a while and re-emerges, even without an internet connection. And as I said earlier, sometimes they appear to attach more to some programs than others, perhaps because they are trying to hide network activity or whatever. Again, a lot of people use Pelishard(not me though :P), and this is the only report of this I've heard. When you reinstall, do you use an original CD copy of Uru?

Great its not infected, So I got a back door in my PC and Im being single out because I gave someone an ego booboo

When you reinstall, do you use an original CD copy of Uru?

Yes AND I purchased them both

Can downloading an AV from your PC instead of off of the internet leave a back door?

The test was for the virus Conficker. Passing this test does not mean you are not infected. It only menas you are not infected by the virus Conficker.

I'm done here... ;)

That's normal, Karkadann: antivirus programs aren't very effective these days. (Complete reinstalls are what the tech shops would do in this case.) It's apparent that you don't have much experience with malware, and that's okay, but everyone is telling you that it isn't Drizzle or Pelishard, and it's probably not Uru related at all. This really belongs on another forum; one dedicated to malware problems.

OK then its probably Coincidence, although its been associated with, however does not seem to be cause. Which is quite a relief cuz if it was I don't think Open Source would have lasted if it was.

Thank you :D
