So we went from someone who was quite busy, didn't say much, but had a fairly good attitude and understanding of the community to someone who rarely says anything, speaks in riddles, and actively avoids being found?

Why is this a good thing? >.>

err, not to say that I don't like RAWA, he's got a really good sense of humour and his riddles are usually pretty clever. However, I'm not sure that qualifies him as a community manager. Looks like we're not really moving towards a more talkative Cyan :\

One of the things that I like about RAWA is how he talked a bit during MOUL about age creation done by the fans, and how he did come up with the Guidelines for Official Story/Age Creation.

I'm hoping that he may be able to be in contact not only with people on the MOUL forums, but maybe on these forums as well. It would be good to have a person around us with a LOT of knowledge (and language skills ) of the D'ni.

From an age creator's perspective (or mine at least), this is pretty awesome, I'm thinking I may get more of an oppourtunity to ask him more questions dealing with age creation now that he will be dealing with the community a lot more.

Regardless, I'm going to remain optimistic at this news, and hope things will work out well, both for us and Cyan! Let's watch and see what happens

Hey Paradox, remember the time when Chogon told us that RAWA was going to come in and explain something to us, and he never did? I predict more of this behavior will be the new norm. Not that the old norm was much different, but at least Chogon cared and could spell and use English correctly. Unlike a former community manager.

I doubt most of the naysayers trust anyone at Cyan Worlds right now unfortunately. Whether or not that will change, only time will tell. (It is my hope this will change)

Like I said, I'm going to remain optimistic about this news. I am very curious to see how RAWA can help us! It is exciting to have someone deeply involved in age creation and with a lot of knowledge about D'ni, in charge of community management!

Let's watch and see what happens, and not jump to conclusions, because nothing has happened in terms of this recent development yet. It's a bit too early to be judging things right now. Let's hope for the best for interest in both Cyan and the Community.
