Merged Age problem...

Postby Atrion » Mon Nov 16, 2009 11:31 pm

I remember reading somewhere before how to do this but I can't seem to find the post so hopefully someone can give me some help.

While playing I have found/seen parts of some ages left behind in another, sorta like the memory wasn't cleared in a sense. I thought perhaps the problem would go away with a simple restart of the game, but that hasn't helped, is there a way to solve this problem or will a reinstall be needed?

EDIT: I ended up solving the problem, sorta. I don;t know if it was connected or not , but I had a RAM stick that was failing. Once it was replaced URU began to function properly.

It (used to?) can happen with Ahra Pahts, but that should reset when you restart the game... Perhaps this is a sequencePrefix/pageNumber problem. Were the Ages involved either Cyan Ages or fan Ages from UAM? And if so, which Ages where they and approximately what did you see? Or was it a private Age you were working on?

In any event, can you click on "Run Tests" on the "Misc" tab of Drizzle and post the result?

Please also tell us exactly which ages you are visiting in which order and where you go there in order to reproduce the issue after a restart.
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Okay, it also involved a private Age that won't affect normals users, so it seems to be good now!
