The sight of Enobmort and Noidrocca never fails to make my head spin.
I shudder at the thought of how utterly lost I'd be in a Nagro Epip age...

I am getting a black screen when I link in to this age. Yeah I know it could be related to my vid card problems. But I am not convinced of that as I can see both Cyan's and my own custom ages. Cyan's and my own ages show textures missing but not a complete black screen, I can see those ages when I link in with no problem. Not this one though it is just a black screen. I know I am linked in cause I can type /quit and hit enter and it exits me from the game. If it were still loading it wouldn't do that.

Whatever the reason it makes me wish I had the money right now to go ahead and get that new vid card. I am already tired of playing games that are 10 years or older.

Hmm, no idea off the top of my head, what might be wrong with the age - it is certainly *a lot* less complex than any of the others you mention.
What if you try taking some stuff out and exporting, starting with the waveset?

I can only wish you good luck with your hardware woes. Sounds like you're relly short on cash, but, depending on your needs/demands, do keep in mind that the top of the line of the last generation of GPU's are usually a good bit more powerful than the lower end of the current one and much cheaper - you might even get a great second hand deal (although that might be risky, given the long-term reliability of consumer grade hardware these days), maybe you know someone who is about to upgrade and is half-considering just binning his perfectly functioning old card...

Now that kayak won't do me much good if I can't even get myself out of that age without a relto book. Nice kayak though ... if you had some water nearby.

It was the wavesets. Once I removed them I could see everything. Though I still lagged like crazy, and the textures didn't look right (thats my lowbie card though) but at least I could see it.

About that kayak: I do wonder a little, how driveables work in Plasma - whether the handling for different vehicles and their parts require custom binary modules for each one, compiled into the engine, or whether there may be some form of high-level language built in, to do these sorts of things, allowing new vehicle types "plug-in" style and whether they are separate object types, or "simply" another kind of avatar.

Can't think off hand; do we have any other than Zandi's mobile home (with him perched precariously on top :7)? Don't thinks so, but...

Nope. And the Zandoni was far from stable. I believe Cyan had to drop an age (Kahlo?) where players would ride flying Kamkentas, because they could not make driveables work reliably.
