Tweek.. that was a good one, haha, just about sums things up here.

Honestly, I don't know what's being argued about. I'm not trying to take sides here, but all Natales said is she isn't seeing as many posts disappear as there claimed to be, I don't think you need to attack her for that. If you know the posts that are deleted, leave some links. And if its as out of control as dustin says it is, then I think something should be done. I do think posts should get locked if they get off of control (I almost breathed a sigh of relief the last time things got out of control here), or the poster should be warned, but I'm not too fond of downright deleting it.

The Still Hope… didn’t get deleted… exactly… it got sorta cloned into 2 threads one is marked (Reposted) or was I can't find the second now. The threads are often inaccessible, if one uses links in their emails. But the threads are still there. For a day or so it was weird. I would be interested in knowing if any posts are missing out of thread.

I'm guessing maybe it did get deleted since they had one called "(Reposted)" but like I said, I'm only guessing here. Do we know when exactly this post got deleted? And if we do, can we narrow down a rule-breaker? If we look deep into this post and can't find anything, than I think some action should be taken. Especially if we can find more deleted posts (to reiterate Natales question, were any more threads deleted and then braught back.. or just deleted?). Like I said, I think just deleting them is wrong, and if its a consistent behavior we need to contact RAWA.

Also thanks for clarifying the rules Natales, I appreciate it. Also from the looks of things, yeah it is up to the mods discretion, does anyone know if they're instructed of any guidelines of any sort to discipline rule-breakers?

What do you all think? What would you like to see RAWA do?

And to answer your question Jamey, I'd love to see him getting involved with what we're doing here. Not the "hacking" (because none of that is going on here? Right guys *wink wink*) but perhaps to give us a bit of insight on how Cyan comes up with their age ideas, modeling techniques, ect. I think RAWA may be a helpful resource, that is unless he's getting tied up managing the community, from the flaming I've seen here, and some posts on MOUL forum, it wouldn't suprise me if he was.

Welcome back, Chloe - nice to finally see you here again :)

'Ragequit'? No, just weariness with the sarcasm, unpleasantness and 'cleverness' -- and the unfair treatment being meted out to others in a very public forum.

In fact, immediately after posting the 'goodbye' I had second thoughts, but when trying to delete it the thread was taken away for consultation. When it returned I edited the post to reflect my thoughts and feelings.

I also stand by my comments in that thread: the unpleasant tone of posts here and in that thread do discourage others (including newcomers) from taking part.

There are constructive ways of expressing disagreement, as well as the destructive ones.

Heh, it turns out that it's possible, nay one might say *easier*, to consult with others about a thread/post while it's visible to everyone. You're just using "consultation" as some wordplay to make it sound softer and kinder. The phrase in English is not "consultation", but "shoot first, ask questions later" (which actually makes it sound awesome :D). And Chogan (or anyone else for that matter) saying that it's okay does not itself make it okay. They're as much to blame for continuing to allow you to mod, in my mind, as they've been told about your stunts many times.

And Dot: you could have simply made a new post or appended to your old one, saying you had second thoughts or changed your mind or whatever. Completely replacing it 2 and a half days later wouldn't normally be read by people who had read it the first time, and serves more as an attempt to deny it in the future. Though in this case, several of us had already seen it and so it wasn't so easy to hide the past this time.

You love conspiracy theories, don't you?

I like the writers, I really do. But I'm finding myself agreeing with Dot here. About the sarcasm and discouraging. I'm not going away, the writers are doing a great job. But more the once (or twice) you act in a very bragging way.

This is in Dot's defence.
Some people have a real life and if a thread vanishes can't afford to spend two days looking for it
You can't amend a new post if you don't know it's been put back so please be realistic.
Don't assume everyone can afford to spend days following up on overzealous modding. :|
