FYI - signed up spaces via the Wiki:

As I mentioned in the table, TSK is fine as an ID on the map.
Aloys (or anyone else running it), is Blender better off running on Windows or Linux? The latter is possible for me but tricky (got an annoying RAID controller to deal with).

You're the first to register industrial shells. 
I assume Blender would run better under Linux provided you have latest drivers for your video card. I'm running winXP myself do I can't really tell, but I've got no performance or stability issues. (Well I don't have some stability issues during export but that might come from the plugin)

no, that is way old. you can use that to start modelling if u want, but you'll have to move the models out of there into the official one later. I wouldnt bother.
