Well, it states that crypto is installed. The error prevents export. I've also made sure I haven't mixed versions as well. All three versions I tried have the same effect.

I don't have a clue what is going on because for me PyPRP works with Blender 2.49b / Python 2.6 and all the 3rd party stuff installed. On the other hand Robert has confirmed here that Crypto is not needed.

Maybe uninstall everything and start from scratch?

So it halts right away, when exporting, also with other ages and have nothing to do with Rell-Too itself?

If the export does go on for a while before aborting, feel free to cut and paste the last page of your Blender console output (or the entire export log) into a code section in your next post - maybe someone can spot something.

(You don't have any old pyprp files lingering in your blender scripts directory, do you? They are now all collected in a dedicated subdirectory ...scripts/pyprp/, but were previously in .../scripts/)

Rell-Too v0.15 is now available.

Core43 has had some really nasty computer problems, but he finally managed to get the project back to me, with his additions (and then I merely sat on it for several days, sorry) - he has not been able to see what they look like in-game, so he may wish to point out any thing that turned out wrong upon export. :)

He has hewn a rock table, down on the lower balcony, set into the side of tower 2, where he discovered a previously unseen lifeform, tentatively classed a plant, of some sort - please report to the rest of us, if they eat anybody.

In other news, I only just received a sign of life from ArdentRed, who sounds like he's swamped with out of cavern concerns. Hopefully we'll see him back in the (distance undetermined) future!

Links in the first post of this thread has been updated, of course.

Next up is..umm, me, now that the devious moebius queue wraps around for the second time. The ever productive Corvus stands next yet in line.

Thanks for keeping this age going, Jojon! Here's to round 3!!!

Some stats (for other nerds like me):

Round 1: 89 days (13 April 2009 - 11 July 2009), 7 contributors, versions 0.1 - 0.7
Round 2: 192 days (11 July 2009 - 19 January 2010), 8 contributors, versions 0.8 - 0.15
Can we rebuild it? Yes, we can - here's how.

Now that's some serious deceleration!

Fortunately, in a way, most of that extra time can be traced to a single individual; myself. I'll try to take this as a wake-up call and be more expedient in the future.

Please don't take this as a wake-up call, Jojon. I was merely posting the development times just for general interest, i.e. how long does it take all of us to make it through a complete loop.

It's also reflective of various writing projects in general. Since the closure of MOUL, the momentum is sagging. It's hard to keep up the drive without some sense of when our ages will make it into the next version of a multi-player URU.

Fear not, Robert. It's not that I discern you slipping any form of subtle message out - only my own obervation of the time frames. :)

The longer time taken with round two, compared to the first one, is not fully indicative of the general community mood -- sure; there have been cases of contributors taking slightly longer than the suggested one week, but not only is that perfectly fine, but submissions have been increasingly complex, too. :)

The main reason round two has taken longer, is with the project "coordinator/router/moderator/confusor". Since every submission goes through me, there is a bit of culumative extra overhead between every participant and I /have/ been rather lax. Now, however: sleeves rolled up, palms spit on and rubbed, "bring on round 3!" :)

@ametist: I have notified Core about positive feedback flowing in. Hopefully he'll get his compy fixed and be back on the forums soon enough. :)

Thanks a lot for the update - and for keeping the age going! No other fan-age saw as many updates as this one, and I think this is the first age to meet Cyan's vision of a constantly changing environment. Ok, we don't have live story events, but the journals make for a story as well, and I really enjoy it :)
