Yeah, that's true. But that's the way of the internets... I'm sure we're all used to it.

Awww, what happened Adam, did he take your sickle and Hanner.

EDIT 1: The claims and expressed forthwith do not represent Chloe Rhodes in any form or faction. She is clearly inebriated at the time of this posting and her opinions forth-width should not in any way admonish her from any claims she makes. That being said. Adam rules And I am quite drunk at the the time of making this post but and still able to make the necessary spelling and, possibly, grammar, edits.

EDIT 2. Oops maybe not.

EDIT 3. Still with the inebriated. The pitchfork should have been hammer. Edit 1 still applies but only the second sentence. Wow. No more tequila for me.

Okay, I lied. I have returned to express my extreme amusement at this thread.

(Psst, Chloe, your quotes got misattributed...among other things...)

No they don't.

Seriously though. I like Adam alot. But even I agree that banning some from a forum for posting something something on another forum, that by be construed as "intolerable" or "treason" is wrong.

That being said. I'm drunk yes. But again, I like Adam very much, and if he feels moderating Tyion by bannning him, even in this forum, is correct, I respect that. Adam has done alot for this community. He runs this forum and website, almost entirely by himself, and no longer enjoys Myst or Uru to the extent that he once does. He's disenchanted by the joys of the games he once held in so high regard. Yet he enjoys the company of the people in this community so much that he spends both his free capital, and his time, fostering a community that seems to regard him with disdain. That says alot for this man, and I respect him a great deal for that.

Drunk girl shutting up now. Feel free to delete said posts.

Adam,

Please don't delete this thread. A lot of folks (myself included) don't fully realize the effort you put forth here. I've read some posts on other sites that refer to you. I know you put a lot into this forum, and for this I thank you. I personally don't have the capital to run my own site again. It takes a lot of effort and time, and that is something I respect.

Is there some way that I can help out? PM me if there is...

 Well, anyway, yeah, just wanted to also say that I appreciate these boards a lot. And I don't think Adam would delete this thread: he's said before that he doesn't delete threads, unlike the guys over at the MOUL forum. It does seem like the topic's been pretty badly derailed, though.

And you would have been wrong, as usual. :D You always take things too seriously.
Isn't it fascinating that I have disagreed with every single one of your moderating actions without exception, although I agree with you on all other things?

I miss the fights we had!

If only I had been fired and didn't quit. Then you could have seen it as some kind of justice. :D One thing you may have not known is that I judged the correctness of my actions by how you would react. If you didn't like what I did, I was sure it was the right thing to do. :D

This sentence tells you that the author thinks that this thread is a great fun. This sentence expresses the regret of the author that he has not been around long enough to contribute some old story. This sentence adds that he is not drunk enough, either.

This sentence serves to inform you that the author agrees that Hoikas is doing a great job on these forums. This last sentence reminds you that the content of the previous sentence, while in line with above posts, might be a bit surprising considering how this thread gained his second life. This sentence comes after the last one and says "Thank you" to Adam.
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

It's true that threads here are deleted much less often than at MOUL, but this is hardly a perfect forum. Yes, thread deletions occur. Yes, there were (still are?) secret subforums that we can't see. And other problems. There are no very well-run forums in the Myst community (that I know of).
