Is there an audio recording of D'ni alphabet? I'd like to hear its "military" form, i.e. for each letter, a word starting with that letter.
When fiction novels are translated into Czech (my native language), alphabets of invented languages use to be transliterated (e.g. from Eragon: en:Ajihad - cs:Ažihad). That's why I feel it adequate to do the same to D'ni alphabet. But I'm not sure about pronunciation of certain letters, since I don't know international phonetic alphabet (in Czech textbooks for foreign languages, different characters are used for phonetics in some cases).
Any help would be appreciated.

Try this on for size: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/D'ni/Alpha ... _Phonology
It lists all of the letters and their sound (but written in English). I know your written English is excellent...but I've never heard you speak it
If you've got questions about a specific word or phrase, put them here and I'll write out something more for you.

Re: D'ni alphabet - audio?
I already have an English transcription of D'ni alphabet including pronunciation, but as I said, I don't know some letters used there for pronunciation, or their correct interpretation. I'm referring to a guide available at http://www.mediafire.com/?2siqtgmaxg1, page 82.
I'm especially interested in Age and city parts names now, since they appear in Nexus.

Re: D'ni alphabet - audio?
When they're written in English, typically one pronounces them the way they're written. For example, Gahreesen...is "GAH-REE-SEHN" (added the h to clarify not ee but eh).
I'm not aware of a pre-compiled list of sounds + example words, etc. But, post the ones you want to know and we'll get some linguists to comment on it.

There are some recordings of D'ni on Rechoortahn D'ni, the old guide to learn D'ni written by Domahreh.
He doesn't pronounce single letters, he pronounces them in other words so you get some context.
