All as full age, per-page textures (.age)

Postby D'Lanor » Tue Oct 05, 2010 11:01 am

Has anyone used this recently? It does not seem to work for me. No matter what I do PyPRP refuses to put the textures inside the main prp file. I even tried the old fashioned hard reset to 1 of the variable "export_textures_to_page_prp" in prp_Config but no luck. :(

I have never had to use this option before but now that I need it for a Pahts shell export it does absolutely nothing. Is it just me or is this a general bug? I am using the nightly 1.6x build.

I have tried it in the past, but it has never worked for me.
The second option "as full age" is the only one I use.
I thought it was me and simply did not understand the option.
The same with "as a single PrP" .
I have to try the latter again, to be sure.
When they work it save's lot's of annoying time.

It works for me, I'm using it all the time testing my shell. But I don't use the nightly build, but v.1.6.

I reverted back to 1.6 but it makes no difference. The mipmaps are still placed into the Textures prp.

Edit: I also tried it with PyPRP 1.5. Still no go.

I tried it again,
for me it did change a single texture, but it did not do it quicker then a full age export.
(about 7 minutes in my case)
I expected it to be much quicker,
Thats why i thought it did not work, i notice no difference.

Ok, problem solved. It was a case of PEBKAC. I was copying the default Shell objects for testing and I just noticed they have a text property "ignorePPT".
