Phantom in the player age

any of you guys know how i would be using Drizzle to see some player ages and all of a sudden someone pops into the age and starts talking to me as if it were online? This really happened. I ran to the link in to see who it was, but they left. Did i somehow "Drizzle" my way into urulive? the 2 folders are almost identical.

Is it possible you were connected to one of the shards?

I guess this happened to you in Eder Tomahn? Did you check if that "person" left something behind for you?

Some fan ages have NPCs. ;) And sometimes even visible ones...

NPC = Non-Player Character, in computer games, it's normally a player that is controlled by the software and computer, not a real, live person.

If it was Eder Tomahn......Surprise! :D The answer is: No, if you used Drizzle to download the Age for offline play, you were not suddenly online, it was something I put in to surprise people. Also, so that something would suddenly appear that was not there before.

Eder Tomahn's not the only one--there's a couple Ages that have NPC avatars pop up and say things. I actually bumped into one of them ONLINE (on Deep Island) and thought at first that it was a player, until I realized the person's actions and emotes were clearly scripted :).
