Ahnonay Bug -possibly many spoilers-

As suggested,I'm moving the issue to a new topic.

I've exprienced several differences with the age Ahnonay in DI shard from the single player version of CC.The missing quabs and crystals aren't a bug but a modification of the server as far as I know,but there are other things:

These are my observations after coming to the age and doing nothing.

1.The Current
In CC:When I got to the age for the first time,there was a strong current and I had to jump from a distant place in the main island to make it to the lighthouse.(Tower Island)
In DI: There was no current in the sea.I could easily swim straight to the lighthouse.

2.The Door
In CC:The door of the lighthouse was shut.I couldn't get in.
In DI: The door was wide open...

3.Relto Linking
In CC:The Relto shelf book linked me to the same point as the Cathedral book,the point you start off at the main island.
In DI : Relto shelf book links me to the 'Control Room',a place at the back of the distant "castles" that can be seen from the main island.

4.Ahnonay Cathedral
In CC:The book in the Cathedral links me to Sphere 1.
In DI: The book cycles me through spheres 1 and 3.


That's all for now.About Ahnonay.Just a little while ago,looking at the Pod Ages walkthrough at the Greeter's Guild,I noticed that the buttons shown as "controls" just give out cries of animals in my game.I'll try to get those moving,something I couldn't manage the last time.

Sorry, it took me a bit to find this topic.
First of all, Ahnonay is instanced in DI. Did you send any invites to the Age through your KI?
Second, did you link to the control room through the main descriptive panel or the shell bookmark, and did you appear in front of the cloth or somewhere else?

@Nathan: Ahnonay is /not/ instanced on DI, it is public.

so...

1) Someone else had already disabled the current

2) Someone had already opened it

3) Not sure.

4) CC has the same behavior when the sphere rotates, which happens when as mentioned, the quabs and the crystals are disabled, so it has the same result as them being broken/chased.

As for the pod ages... uh.. that's by Cyan's design, as in MOUL and MOULagain.

So is there a way to reset the age to be able to play it myself?
/!resetage doesn't work with Cyan ages.

Oddly,I couldn't manage to link to the control room again.Relto shelf links me to the starting point of the main island now.I created a new char and the same result.
However,the journey cloth in the relto shelf now links me to Sphere 4.Another place I've found out just today T__T...

The journey cloths are stored in the Ahnonay Cathedral SDL, so they are shared amongst all players as well, as odd as this may sound ;-)

And actually, there is no way to reset Ahnonay on the Shard. I am also not sure how I should handle that... I could try to enable the "Reset age" button in Relto, but I doubt it would work properly. /!resetage would also not reset the journey cloth state, I think, as it is saved in a different place than the usual age states. But then, Ahnonay does not have much of a state online anyway - basically, it's just the current, the sphere position, the journey cloth, the door and the gondola.
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Actually, the wedge is obtainable at AhnonayMOUL, so the cloths only assist in linking. Looks like it'd be better to try Ahnonay on MO:ULa :roll:.

Err.. You probably did. Er'cana is instanced on DI. =P

Er'cana != Ahnonay.

Er'cana != Ahnonay.

=P

Ah. Usually one someone instances one Age of a two Age series, they instance the other one. But, then again, Ahnonay requires multiplayer, Er'cana doesn't (at least in MO:UL).

Yes, the instancing situation is kinda weird... I really wanted Ahnonay to be instanced, but that would make it totally impossible to play it together. Invites are working for Er'cana, but not for Ahnonay due to the multi-age design. The Spheres would all have to be sub-ages of the Cathedral for instancing to work, and parts of the Python would have to be re-written... so, while possible, it would be a lot of work.
