Maybe SLI is the problem?
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

I tested both with and without SLI.
What happens is the screen goes black for a few seconds, after which the image comes back and I can play for a few seconds, and it happens again.
This only happens in Uru, and only in some fan Ages, and then only in certain places.

When I had Vista, each time the driver crashed I would get a small info bubble with a message saying that the video driver had crashed and was restarted by the OS. (without getting a blue screen as would happen in XP).
Now with WIndows 7 I don't get these messages anymore.

I know it is not a performance or temperature problem, as I have games that are far more CPU- and graphic-intensive (I can tell by the sound of the 9 fans in my system!)

Interesting. I don't get that kind of error, but my graphics card is newer. I'm sluggish because of my old processor.

All I can think of is a graphics card update, but you should have a good graphics card in your gaming PC already.

Got a response from dendwaler! He is not sure why people can't just copy the files from the DI install. I explained that many people don't want to hack their install, they just want to play fan Ages. He also said he'll send the files to Dustin when he gets back home.

If you are playing fan ages you have already hacked your install.

1) Offline KI is a hack
2) playing fan ages at all is "hacking your install"

I would guess that the reason why people don't get their files from the DI install because they haven''t got it.
Code: Select all
long longestTimeWithoutPlayingMoula = (new Date()) - (new Date(2014, 9, 26));

Right, but many people don't want to "copy and paste". They just want to say "Drizzle, download the Age "Turtle Isle" to my install". Drizzle loads the files, and they are automatically copied to where they need to be.

Correct as well. Many people use offline only, or use UAM shard. Although I personally prefer DI, some people just don't have it.

Well, the updated age is also available with Drizzle now!
Dustin just contacted me, and i have immediately verified it.

I hope that this will give lots of comments in this thread , on how Turtle Isle performance, and how you like it. :)
Those wonderfull Worlds are called " Ages" , because that is what it takes to build one.
