3dsm Plugin Issues

Instead of a lake , creek or pond - how about something like a Pod Age??

Instead of the walls being opaque they would be translucent and transparent. There could be walkways and balconies so people would be able to observe gameplay

OR

They would be able to look through the walls to see an Atlantian type visage (fallen pillars and the walls of a city) with fish swimming about like in Dereno...

Dude you really should learn Blender or Max and make some of these ideas of yours into ages, they sound very imaginative.
Their are a ton of tutorials for both, and the satisfaction of creating ages far out weighs any other part (at least for me)
Its worth a try, all you'll be loosing is time. Id love to see "The First Age Of Wamduskasapa" You've got the talent and the imagination.

Imagine your own age with your own personal twist build by you, there are plenty of people here willing to help,

I have 3DS Max and have tried designing an age with it for almost a year. This Olde Dog evidently has problems learning new tricks, I have failed dismally.

The only choice I have is to continue giving ideas to others...

OK The main problem is that I keep getting an Error code 126 The plugins (PlasmaMax.gup and MaxPlasmaLights.dlo) refuse to initialize.

They are BOTH installed in directory Autodesk/3dsMax8/plugins/

I have installed
3DS Max 8
3dsMax8_SP3.msp
Autodesk DWF Viewer
backburner
MOULaPlugins871

Show Spoiler
Other than the MOULaPlugins871 not initializing 3DS Max runs fine...

a coding issue? Dude this site has a lot of coders, someone's gotta know whats going on, you should have seid something
and in the mean time I found an interesting info on Error code 126

http://www.wiki-errors.com/err.php?wiki=126

also I noticed you have 3 pages in your age file
My first try was strictly the basics one page and that was it I didn't even have a fni file
I bit off more then I can chew once with Relativity so I started with the basics

I have already purchased and run the suggested program (Error Fix)
I Still am getting the 126 error stating that the MOULa Plugins will not initialize

Even though the age that I am attempting to create only has one room that you roam around in, there are 2 additional rooms that have visible animations.
Imagine an age like Payiferen - On the first floor you look out and see an animation. Then on the second floor if you look out you see a different animation. Using 3 rooms decreases lag, since the animations will only be active while actually being observed...

Not being a coder Im not sure if this makes any difference but the tutorial I used
here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjUomH6IMJ0&fmt=22

has a few different numbers on the "PlasmaMAX2.ini"

[Menu]
Version=10
[SceneViewer]
Directory=PathToYourOutputDirectory
[Export]
X=411
Y=322

the x - y cords should only affect the exported files and shouldn't affect program initiation
