Is this still being used or has things changed?? I was thinking of getting a shell. 428 since thats what I have named the age I'm working on. Oh and how big are these shells anyway?

Is there a version of this made for URU CC thats semi stable? Oh also I wanted to ask does it matter what you put in a shell or does it have to be the same as the type of shell it is. Like commercial shell having a personal house in it?

As taken from the Shells FAQ thread: "Each shell is a private space, larger than a Relto island". (here is a size comparison example ). Shells are around 180 feet accross inside, so that's large enough to put in a very nice house. (or anything you want actually)

Honnestly this hasn't been discussed in a long time.. Originally 'commercial shells' were made for people who want to display their work and 'sell' it to other people. For instance you are a 3D artist who has made some nice 3D plants you display them in your shells so people can see them and then they'd contact you to get them.. But again this was not very clear and it hasn't been mentionned by anyone in a long time.
As far as I am concerned if you want to get shell 428 and put in something 'non-commercial' that's fine with me..

As Aloys just said, there are, but said zoning isn't very strictly enforced.

Unless you perhaps mean that the areas of the city outside the shells would be altered, but I don't think that was ever the plan. 'twas more about the contents of the shells.

Sure sign me up for shell 428. I was also wondering are the confines just limited to width or is height and depth in there to . What I mean is up and down.

One other thing where can I get the template thats talked about.

Height is 60 feet, depth has no limit.

Having just gotten the Age installed and seeing how far apart 329 is from the other two, a question came to mind. My motivation is to try and stay true to the original zoning constraints. Would it be possible to get shells 328, 330, and 331 and put a door between the walls of 328 and 330? Or if zoning does not matter then I'll just take 330-332. (If zoning does matter, and the door between the walls is not possible, the I'll stick to 329,330,331 as in my original request.)
